Do you think it would bug visitors or would it bring in more?
it will notify them when theirs a reply by email, I've had this done to me and I actually came back to comment again and I didn't find it very annoying.

I think you already have that on your forum.
just have the box checked
they can uncheck then if they want.
I think its a little strong, but it works at first.
after a while it gets iritating though.

I have the option in the admin panel to tick it:) but as you said it can get iritating after a while so wasn't too sure if its a good idea.
I'm thinking of giving it a trial run though.

Its probably good to make sure they only get one email per topic.
dont want multiple emails for one topic.
