how can you hide them?

I have seen people use tinyurl to hide their referral links

thats different, i mean say you hit a site they log where you have clicked from so I'm on google and click a yahoo link yahoo can see I have come from google, how can i hide that click?

Copy and paste the url into the address bar. :D

Well if your using opera just hit F12 and then deselect "Enable referrer logging"

is their like a way you can do it on a site, not in your browser.
for example diggboss uses a redirection which hides the referral.

Ok i think you are talking about to use .htaccess, i once see this done (myself never did it before) Going to check on this and let you know the result

There are a few ways, eg opening up a blank link then targeting it to the page you want using javascript.
