i have a homework at mathematics.i have to do a program.. i don't know if i have to do it in c++ or another prg.
but my homework is about functions.
i have f: A ----> B
and the number of elements in A is a number "n". this number must be introduced in my algoritm
and the number of elements in B is a number "m" . this number must be introduced too.

in c++ is something like this..
cin>>(numbers in A);
cin>>(numbers in B);
n=(how many numbers are in A)
m=(how many numbers are in B)
c=pow(n,m)
cout<<c;


but my teacher will be the one who will introduce numbers in A : eg :    he will say that A has 12 ,13, 56, 34 ,7 ,3
and i will have to solve with my algoritm how many numbers has A : 6. i mean n=6
so with B.and m will be let's say 9.
and i will have to say him that the answer is 6*6*6*6*6*...*6  you got it? how  can i offer him the possibility to introduce some numbers and how can i calculate how many numbers did he introduce?:-?? in which program should i work? please help me..

Im not really sure what this function is supposed to do?
Your example is kind of hard to follow.
