since I set up http://www.cheap-websitedesign.co.uk I've done no PPc or anything and I've had a few nibbles. I've got one legal firm who's hiring me to design their website. they're looking to keep it quite simple and I've helped them pick out their domain etc so far. They're going to talk about it in a meetign nxt week and then get back to me with all the text for the site and hire me.

any links to cheap logo designers?

Logo designers charge at least £200, I say start scrubbing up on photoshop.
My first client ran into financial issues so I just gave up after that :P.

im getting a logo from gotlogos.com for $25 (£12.50) done for me for my own site snext week. I'll show you it when I get it. only they don't do any additional changes for that price. eBay's where I got the best deals so far.

Do you get it in psd or anything?
Or is it just a high resolution png?

Keep control of everything if you can, hosting, domain, etc.

they give you a logo in GIF format and one in one of thos eformats where the background is transparet, I guess it'll be PNG?

At the moment I offer to host their sites for a small additional fee but they have to leave it all up to me at that point as I don't have a reseller account or anything or they can arrange their own hosts, i provide a list of cheap ones that also don't offer their own webdesign services.

How would you order the domain then? would you put it in your name or is there a way you can do it but have it in their name?

If your host allows addon domains then you can get more domains from 1and1.co.uk
I would say its best to purchase a reseller account though so you can sell hosting as well at a better price.
GIF is a transparent format but personally I think the formatting is bollocks, I think they should give you a PNG or even better a psd :D

Keep everything in your name.
That gives you total control of everything.
