I just found sitepal.com and it basically lets you sort of make your own talking character for your website. They must be raking it in coz you need to pay $10 a month. very web2.0

what'd you think of it? I'm not going to bother with one, the lips seem not be be 100% in sync. but would it improve business???

I used to love that site, but its 100% annoyance.

Animations are a bad idea for any website, especially with sound.
Sound is a BIG mistake for almost any site (with a few exceptions, bands, etc)
