Ideally its a gadget that allows you to network through your mains supply.
I think this is only really good for one connection but still its interesting.

Interesting, seems a little obsolete with WiFi around although it might be more secure.
Will have to look into this more.

In Singapore it was all the rage a few years back, but it didn't really got popular and soon everyone turned to Wireless. It looks kind of dangerous to plug your network into your power socket.
