Hi everyone....
I'm beginning on college, so I decided to study "Computer Sciences"...
so my question for u guys is.. What Classes did u really think are good..???
I like every single thing about computer,,, please my a list of classes that u think are good..
:P

I wanted to take computer science its brilliant.
They go into computers really deep like the transistors on a processor and how they work, personally I would take it for the pure facination about it.

My course in computer science involves everything - from programming and the OS operation to the inside parts to even assembly. However, I don't think it is useful if you are thinking of a job in IT though. Too general.

I don't think college is all that good to be fair, ideally you want to get qualifications which mean something!
Like network administration you would be going for some CCNA or MCSA, which at the moment I'm looking at my current qualifications will get me no where to be honest the qualifications are recognized but not at the standard of where I want to be.

well, it basically means that at the end of your degree not even the best policeman will be able to find your internet porn stash. :D

If I could give you any advice I'd say make sure the degree you get translates eazily into at least 1 specific job.

In that case, those certificates by vendors would be of an higher value than general diplomas or degrees. Anyways, I was browsing through the papers the other days, a lot of IT jobs already requires minimum of some sort of certificate. If you are looking for a diploma, I say go ahead and get that. But complement it with a vendor cert.

If you want to make money, IT Security, Website Design, Programming and Online Marketing are the best things to focus on.
