For those of you who dont know, puppy linux is a lightweight linux distro, originally designed to run on a 50MB credit card sized CD, although later versions are pushing 70MB in file site which you can still fit on a 200MB micro CD with ease.

However if you fancy keeping it credit card sized and want something a bit more custom you may want to take a look at this.

Mean Puppy is a 50MB version thats a nice balance of usability and size.
Some apps have been ripped out but some other features such as wireless networking have been added.
Its a nice puppy.

I'm still stumped with which one i like better DSL or puppy.

Default DSL is a little better than default Puppy, but Mean Puppy has a slight edge.

I still like Austrumi myself though.

I still have much to learn before i use Austrumi still need to learn all the commands etc.

The reason i like DSL and Puppy is because you can click the mount button :D to get into the hard drive.
and even better with knoppix because its all done ready for you.
