Is this what the Bush administration has reduced the US to.

I would say it suprises me but with Bush you really get the feeling they would let anyone be president.  It seems strange that the United States doesn't try to bring any of it's constitutional or moral values to the rest of the world  ( i guess that what exactly these are is under current debate).  You might think that if the United States wanted to win the minds of the common citizen you might try the golden rule approach.  terrible..... just terrible...

I agree, its sad to see the moral values of the US fall so low.
thankfully most people over there dont support this sort of thing, but enough do to keep bush in power, which is a real slide downhill for the one time leader of the free world.
