1  The IT Department / Programming / CSS Rendering in Firefox and Internet Explorer on: October 18, 2007, 12:21:41 am
Hey guys, is it true that the output for the above will be different in both browsers?

Im trying to position a table right all the way to the top using CSS. Somehow, my desired output works in Firefox but not in Internet Explorer. The table doesnt stick all the way to the top edge in IE.

What do u tink i should do?

CSS Code:
table {
position: fixed;
top: -1px;
border-collapse:collapse;
}
2  Multimedia & Design / Website Design / Stock images on: October 18, 2007, 12:21:04 am
Well it has been quite a while since nobody posted anything related to stock images. So if you have a nice resource of stock images , please let us know about it. I know Shutterstock is a great image bank , but their services are paid.

For free images I tend to use scx .

How about you ... ?
3  Hardware, Software and Security / Hardware / DVD Speed Problem on: October 18, 2007, 12:20:23 am
I have an internal LG DVD Burner (in addition to an external). The internal burner is acting wierd and i'm not sure why. I burn DL DVD's and the speed seems to be inaccurate. First, I used a "2.4 X" disc and it indicated that it was burning at "4X"...which is impossible and inaccurate due to the fact that the 6 Gig movie to about 90 minutes. I use Nero and "2.4X" wasnt even listed as an option. Then I bought the "8x" discs and tried burning with them. It said it was burning at "8x" but it again to 90 minutes. My external is only capable of burning at 2.4 so i'd like to find out whats wrong with my internal? Any Help is greatly appreciated!
