1  Hardware, Software and Security / IT Security Forum / Year 2007 Problem - Daylight Saving Time Change on: January 12, 2007, 02:12:38 pm
On March 11, DST changes. This will have a big impact on computer systems that have not been patched. Timestamps in your logs will be wrong. Some programs may not work. Etc. The vendors have been quiet about this, but I was able to compile a list of major vendor patches. I put it up on my blog here:

http://www.edgeblog.net/2007/daylight-saving-time-the-year-2007-problem

There is a lot of stuff like copiers, time clocks, and PBXs that can't be patched and need to be changed manually. If you haven't already fixed your stuff, now is the time.

If you want to try out the DIGG swarm, click here & DIGG: http://digg.com/software/Daylight_Saving_Time_The_Year_2007_Problem. I am curious to see how well our DARKSAT DIGG swarm works. ;-)

Good luck to y'all. If you come across other vendor fixes, please leave them in the comments of my site.

My bad. I should have added a descriptor. Great Forum BTW. I love the Digg Army concept!
