Depends on the Distro
Some are better than others.
Buy anyone with a little technical savvy or brains can run a Linux distro Like Backtrack.
I downloaded the Games version of Wolvix (50 Games), Burnt ISO onto CD, booted from CD, set xconfig and startx and Was straight into the Graphic Desktop.
Didnt auto detect my wireless card which was a pity, backtrack is much better for that, but some of the arcade games are cool, Metal Blob Solid and Starfighter are fun, others are a little dated though.
