Yeah Its called the Opera web browser.
Its a free download browser with a built in download manager. (plus a lot more)

As for Vista, I would stay away for the moment.
PC shops are pushing it as its an excuse to convince people to upgrade but its not worth it if you ask me.

Internet Explorer IS has and probably always will be a pile of Sh*t
