Your talking about MinLogon?
Its a double edge sword, you run everything as system user, so it removes support for guest/user accounts, so you cant sandbox easily, but it can be made secure with a fair bit of work.
Good to play with if you have a spare box, but I wouldn't recommend it as primary unless you know what you are doing.
Tends not to work well with things like standby, hibernate, and a lot of other things.
