you would probably damage the CD anyway.
best make sure to treat CD like golddust if you put it onto CD, and make 2 coppies.
You could also try using a filesplitter so you could split files and put one part somewhere safe.
That way unless you have the two parts, nothing will work.
or you could try hiding files within files.
