A supercomputer cluster operates as a single machine.
A bot network cannot perform advanced calculations because the internet itself is to slow to allow to allow the network to act as a whole.
Your better off taking over something like a university computer system and clustering all the PCs together.
2000 PCs with 3 T3 Connections is fast enough for most of the tasks you will use it for.
