Myspace is full of trolls, your better off focusing on places where there will be traffic, and your really better off focusing on top notch content.
Content will get you links, repeat visitors, serps/spiderfood, and better conversion rates.
Content is King.
Commenting on blogs related to your own will also get you backlinks and related traffic, especially if the comments are witty and unique, the best thing is to focus on traffic directly and those will be the links that get you ranking, but you still need CONTENT.
The main problem with your blog is the lack of content, you put up some great stuff but its like web-mastery, you only need to check once a week to see everything.
