Media server?

I have not streamed video before, but I had streamed audio before, through the Internet. I used the WinAMP media server. I had 3 other PCs connected and my PC (that's an old PIV setup) was stable and powerful enough to run it. I think to stream video, bandwidth is more important. But since you are doing it through the LAN, unless you have a big number of connections, you shouldn't need a super high end server. Maybe a SCSI RAID hdd setup?
