Possible to search whois using a name?

Yeah the owner thing.
I don't see why it would be a privacy thing, you can search loads of things using peoples names, a basic example myspace you can use someones name on their and it will bring up their profile.
Theirs loads of other things you can search names with, so i cant see no reason that they wont allow it, I have the right to search for that junk, as long as I'm not on it .
