It was too much trouble even trying to get ubuntu booted up on CD, plus I think the CD drive was like 3x speed Grin

.
couldn't even boot up a environment for it!

Edit: did not work, I will try and install the new 7.10 xubuntu CD

didn't work, know a alternative distro I can use, with good driver support.
I'm thinking about GOS and VectorLinux anyone tried them?
