I agree to a level, but its only bloated in the way of functionality.
The drag and drop is terribly large causing a slow page load.

But the generic one is bloody good in terms of what you can do, what pisses me off is when people use them for simple functions like hiding something or showing something, Personally I like to use jQuery for simple effects like slowly showing a box or something, if you end up with a large JS file with all your functions you may find that jQuery is better.

But I see no point for a few of the plugins, ok majority  Tongue.

Yeah though I have to agree with you when people use it for pointless reasons mostly using the jQuery UI.
