Your opinions on OpenID

OpenID is a system that allows you to have a site wide account, with the username of username.openid.com.
Login don't register.
Personally I love the idea and I'm glad its around, I just wish that it became a common thing for any site.
The idea of never registering a account again sounds good to me.

Edit:
the openid module for drupal is now in drupal 6 core!

Now what would be good with openid is avatars.

Also it makes you very easy to track online.
Bad idea for privacy and security.

Yeah but when you sign into a site using that ID it gives you the option to select a nickname so your ID isn't shown.

Yes, but what I am saying is all you need is one fake site to harvest open ID logins and you can then use that login on all the other sites.
