I read it from somewhere, that having too many links will reduce my site's PR, is that true ?
I meant, if I have 10 links(to other sites) on my site, and very few links TO my site, my PR will reduce. To stop my PR from reducing, I can remove all the links on my site. Really Huh?

Yes and No.
Your PR will reduce if you have a lot of outbound links but the anchor text will still help you rank for specific terms.
especially if your linking to authority sites.
So some outbound links are good.
To many are bad.

I try to keep my outbound links less than my on site links always.

If you are linking out, use anchor text related to your site.
Sometimes outbound links can help your ranking.

Ok, what you mean is like if my site is about Web Designing, and I have a link to another site, I should use a related anchor text like "Profesisonal Web Deisgns" ? That would help in rankings?

There are over 100 ranking factors when SEOing a site, but if you focus on content and getting natural links there is a good chance you can rank naturally.

all links are good links. outbound ones just do do as much for your serps as inbound ones. I think google will only recude your pr if you have 100s of outbound links and very few inbound ones, as its a good way of spotting FFA pages and linkfarms.

the only real way you will damage your pr is if you link to a lot of PR0 sites.  These sites are either not ranked yet, or have been blackmarked and will drag your reputation down with u.

as far as I can remember anyway Smiley

PR0 sites should be okay right ?
Only those sandboxed by google will do harm to your PR.
