lol, seems family are going in debt slowly (guess) so I asked for cheap things .

My cold heat soldering iron melted itself, piece of shit it was rather good as well for basic soldering.

A soldering iron is easy to make, you can do basic stuff with a knife, a source of heat like a fire and some soldering wire.
Whats hard to make is a Solder sucker for desoldering, which is really handy if your taking something appart.

Its a good method when in prison , I've done that before but I find it damages the blade too much.

The idea behind the soldering iron i got is its battery powered, no need to wait for it to heat up .

I prefer the ones with a plug myself.
