British schools to go linux?

Its sad to see linux becoming popular, once that happens you no longer gives individuals that sence of person.

Like fuck windows I don't use that I'm a linux guy now it will be more like, I use linux oh so do i.

I hate things going popular, its like mac users they once had that but now its just everyone has one.

I'm sad to see it leaving, maybe I shall switch to unix.
But its good to see microsoft finally taking a blow for all their shitware.

The fact is they are putting too much malware in their systems, and so are most of the software producers.
Linux no trouble, I get the odd update warning I don't like but other than that linux is good.

I just hope that everyone is prapered for the exploits.

I'm not sure if it will take off though, in schools it has potention as mostly they use office applications, but colleges its largely based around more advanced software that is available on windows.
But if this hits a large amount of schools we shall be seeing things like photoshop etc moving over to us.

I'm still iffy over the idea of it being popular, the walmart PC's where a huge hit with GOS on it because of their price.
But it was rather shit, the OS is not advanced very much and I would expect them to be all over ebay or wiping the machine and putting windows on it.

It'd be good if we had more people on linux, or any OS's part of the *nix family for that matter... I like this idea, linuX isn't as user freindly as Microsoft Windows for example, but once you learn it you can see how and why linux is a much more powerfull OS.
