Assault Cube

Assault Cube (formerly action cube) is a cool free first-person-shooter game based on the Cube game engine.
It is totally open source and is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X
Its only a 19MB download and can play on a 56K modem, but it packs a whole load into that small size.
The game feels like counterstrike with the speed of unreal tournament and the gameplay is great.

Cant take many bullets, and is way too fast and too confined.
rather good for a small game though .

If its to fast, your to slow.
And yes, you need to get body armour ASAP cause the bots are very good and the guys who play multiplayer online are very good as well.
And its realistic, you can only take a couple of hits without body armour before you die.
I also like the smaller maps, it keeps the action more fast paced.

...ahem!... high velocity bullets are standard in all assault rifles now and there's no body armour that can stop them. they're "armour defeating"....
