Getafreelancer, Elance, Eufreelance Freelancer websites

I have been looking at a few freelance websites such as Getafreelancer.com Eufreelance.com and Elance.com
So far just playing around, havnt won any contracts yet.
I was wondering has anyone else used any of these sites and if so I would love to hear your feedback on which ones are the best and any tips, tricks or thoughts you may have.
Personally I prefer being near enough to a client so I can arrange a face to face meeting but I am sure there are projects that are worth bidding on on some of these sites.
Also it may be a good way to outsource some of the work you have cheap.
