Safe mode

Well i was working on some old computers in college that where setup for a network account.

So i tried booting it in safe mode trying to get rid of the password prompt it was still their!

So in the end i had to format and reinstall windows can can i get around it instead of reinstalling?
And also how can i set my computer up to have password prompt in safe mode?

no worries i did it in the end, but it was changing the registery passwords on boot

You didn't tell us what version of windows you were having issues with.

If your passwords were changing on boot it sounds very ominous and very much like viral activity
