As far as I am aware. I know that earlier phones only supported WML files with no HTML or XHTML support, then later XHTML and some HTML support was introduced, so I imagine that modern mobile browsers should still support WML, although I wouldnt be surprosed if a couple didnt.
The last wap site I developed was over 18 months ago and at the time WML was the main language used by phones (in Ireland).

try renaming contact2.html to contact2.php sounds like a mime type error.

What sort of market share has tmobile got I wonder?
I figure 2 years before mobile site design is an expected part of a designer/developer skill set. Its very popular for big companies and sites though. your looking at up to 3% of traffic from mobile users for some sites I have worked on. I figure 10-30% in the next 2-5 years.

Only good sites to view on your mobile are sites about mobiles where you get downloads etc.

I did a weather site for surfers in Ireland and we get loads of people using it, only way to check the surf forecasts at the beach. (and we get sponsorship from Nokia)

google and live search both have a "mobile internet search" if you view them on a mobile in beta just now. the results are very thin. I rekon it'll take off after christmas (lots of new phones) and will become weidespread by xmas 2008.
