Hello how are you ? My name is William and currently I was appointed in charge of the area of computer science in the small business where I belong, my boss wants to expand the quality of our networks and servers and that is why he wanted to have a specialized place for network administration, wiring and servers of the company. For that reason I am equipping this site, however, since I am a bit of a beginner with these things. I would like to know in depth the security measures that we must take into account for these computing places of the company. I tell you that it is a place that was in disuse, was basically abandoned and that it was originally used for other reasons and that is why I would like to apply certain safety regulations. The first thing we had to do (although it is really embarrassing) is to exterminate the cockroaches that dominated the place, fortunately we were able to solve it with the recommendations of this website about roaches spray.
Now, regarding security measures. I have already found out about it and we are looking for better lighting, cooling and heating equipment to adapt the environment to a temperature suitable for the conservation of servers and network equipment. In the same way, I would like to receive your comments and suggestions, since I comment that I am someone a little beginner of the subject.
