You already know that the inhabitants of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica have a strong relationship with nature. The hospitable and beautiful climate makes it easy to spend time outdoors, living and working in the natural world. A major side effect of this lifestyle is that people get adequate sun exposure, which provides them with enough vitamin D. I found an interesting post on the web that says the people of the Nicoya Peninsula Blue Zone value hard work and physical exercise.
