Not if you are interlinking.
Saying that however I assume you and other people are checking out each others sites so I dont think Google would be able to positively identify the site owner that way.

Because you need to verify your site with Webmasters tools and if you verify, there is a good chance they will know that those sites are owned by the same person.

You might get away with a little interlinking but its probably not a good idea.
There are loads of webmaster tools out there anyway, no need to become dependant on google products.

I don't like google's webmaster tools. On my last board I used them and they didnt help me at all. On my new site I have yet to use them and I am doing much better.
