Telephone recording

I was thinking you could plug a crappy cheap mp3 player into it and record from the plug thing?

anyone know of a better method?/cheaper :p

Cant you just run everything through your PC.

I'm not going to broadcast my telephone conversations, what do you mean by run everything through the PC?

Well if you want to record your own phone conversations stick the phone connection into your modem and set up your PC as a phone using a headset.

If you want to record someone elses use the ITrip and set the radio signal to the highest range so its less likely to get picked up by other people and then you can monitor soeone elses calls.

I've looked everywhere and i cant find a modem, thought i had one though , I'm sure I had one I shall keep looking though would be the cheaper option .

So I've been looking for wireless headsets but they only say things about MSN, AIM, Yahoo and Skype.
The main thing I'm interested in on these are the buttons on the headset I want to be able to answer the phone using the buttons
