Which is better for SEO ?
Should I "bold" my keywords or  "strong" them ?

And how many times do you do that before you are considered as keyword spamming ?

I generally use bold.
and use the bold tag about 3-5 times on the same keyword depending on the ammount of content .
and use the h1 or h2 tag one or two times.

bold is better than underline or italics, but try to use h1, h2 tags if possible.

Try to get a high density of your keywords in bold on the webpage, but make it look alright for visitors too.

Why links in bold ??
You are talking about bold of specific keywords right ? Not links ?

Well they keywords for the page should be related to the links going to the page.
it should all be along the same theme.
You get a much better result if the title, links, and onpage content all match up.

the bold tags are now obsolete, along with a lot of other html tags.  Style sheets should be employed now to style a majority of your web pages.

For a list of deprecated tags in html and xhtml, take a look at http://www.n2kdesign.co.uk/viewarticle.aspx?aID=41

They still work for SEO but the H1 and H2 tags are more important.
