I'm putting some clickbank products on my website, how do I disguise the links so the search engines don't punish the site???

You can change the link so say its something like www.tracepeople.co.uk/links/affiliatelink.com and use get command to then redirect it to the site and put before that nofollow so the search engines then don't follow to find out its a affiliate link.

okay as i have loads of spare time.

What you need to do is make it so you have a links directory in that put index.php
in the file what you want is to do something like.

So you link to say http://www.tracepeople.co.uk/link/lnk=www.google.com

not sure how it works if your url has slashes in it would need to look more into it.
