That is fantastic, I've been starting to learn flash so I will use that!!
the hashes, oooohhh you have #/ which is then counted as a directory by google? THAT is what I've been looking for for some ajax, I've seen sites like asos.com and they use the # which tricked me for a bit, and I thought google don't bother using hashes, but you've put the slash in which can i take it google reads that?
I'm not sure on the subject?

Your Web / Business & E-Commerce / Pricing

Okay so you're asked to design/develop a e-commerce shopping cart.
You have a script already done thats been used for a number of other jobs.
What kind of charges would you be looking at? I was just doing some market research and saw someone charging 2k for a e-commerce site, shocked me at first but then looking into it more its rather cheap. If your doing a design that could take a week or so, then you have to implement that site how you're doing to lay it out etc in html. and then its going to have to be moved to the actual e-commerce side of things. Which all that could take a month, in and out of other jobs though.
So is that kind of charge normal/cheap/expensive?

Mind if I summarize it? Customer Comes First Watch over competitors moves Going by quantity Is this not the common practice in corporate environments? Feature rich sites put together like theirs no tomorrow. I find I'm some what the opposite. The client comes first which is down to a lot of variables, I would make suggestions on different methods and give a reason for why I think I have a better method etc. Watching competitors I fully agree, and if they have done something shit loads better build on their better system. My issue is Deliver working software frequently, from a couple of weeks to a couple of months, with a preference to the shorter timescale. This worries me some what, its suggesting that you're rushing work, which I 100% do not agree with, I believe in taking a load of your back and enjoying what you can do. I've found if I'm rushing I miss the opportunity to find better methods of what I've built, if I can make my functions much more manageable and future proof I would rather take my opportunity to change it while I can.

I like the fact Firefox isn't mentioned much in that article.
Firefox has seriously gone down hill in my books, Safari, Opera & Chrome are still top in my books. I have no use for 99.9% of the firefox extensions, I use 1 or two of them!
Safari is a brilliant browsers in parallel with Mac, Opera is my first choice on windows/linux and Chrome is a novelty browser made by google in my eyes, and I imagine in a few years it will be the dog's bollocks!
Its really nice to see a abundant array of browsers out their though, but I have noticed IE8 is completely shit with javascript, and its already making up a shit load of visitors though. I cannot see how they can get so much wrong in every release its just so infuriating and time consuming!!

Its amazing, I was scared at the cost I would regret it but its fucking fantastic!! Leapord is a brilliant OS and quite frankly I cannot wait for the next version. I couldn't go back to windows, I can do so much with it you get multiple desktops like linux, you can show all your windows the same as linux. I can do a four finger pull on my touch pad to show all my windows or I could use on of my hot corners I've setup. Simplicity is amazing, and I don't actually like using a mouse anymore

The IT Department / Programming / PHP Image Cutting

I'm just thinking, not looking too much into it but a simple thought.
Say I have 50 odd buttons and I've made a PNG file with these buttons
home-mypage1-mypage2-mypage3 home-mypage1-mypage2-mypage3 home-mypage1-mypage2-mypage3 home-mypage1-mypage2-mypage3 home-mypage1-mypage2-mypage3
Something like that, I'm just thinking instead of cutting these up in PS could I say have a PHP page to split these up and generate my buttons?
Only other thought I can think of is load all of them, and then use CSS to say margin-left:-900px to get this button etc.
Just a thought don't look too much into it, just want to put my mind at ease if it is possible.
