 Looks like it's gonna be sweet. When I first saw the benchmarks Intel had setup for the previews, I was sceptical. But now that indepented benchies have leaked, it looks like Intel got its groove back. Lower clock speeds and thermal dissipation, but awesome performance. AMD is still going strong, but doesn't look like even the FX-series will be able to stand up against even the mid-range Conroes. I'd like to get my hands on one of these babies.

Yeah Intel is using its bigger budget to cream AMD and investing heavily in low power/heat options, focusing heavily on the Laptop Market.
AMD will need to step its game up or it could be game over.

Shocked I always thought that intels cpu's run cooler.

laptops are the future though amd is going in the right direction.

Yeah but Intel has the Budget.
I think AMD can catch up but not yet.
