Black Backgrounds

It depends on how good you are.
also depends on the taste of the individual using it.
I have seen black work very well with silver and 3d graphics elements but it really takes some skill to get the most from the site.
and some people will still complain about it if they have really crappy monitors, check it on a CRT & a TFT for readability.
Also even with a black template, it shouldnt be too black.
