Yeah the NTFS file permissions system is more advanced, but that only applies when on a network or if someone is on your machine.
For the most case the supposed improvement in security is not really much better than fat and in a few cases its slightly poorer, especially to set up.
Only really worth it for network machines, and you want to know your stuff, even that wont stop anyone technically skilled.
