Russia Invades Georgia

The difference i the US attitude is that the US just wants to station a load of military bases in any country with oil and ensure that any regieme in power in these countries plays ball with them, the money is power attitude.
The russians have a land/tanks is power attitude and this is an excercise at flexing military might and using the threat of military force to ensure compliance from other countries.
its all about business, money and ego to these people, using a nations military in a way which benifits the businesses owned by politicians and those politicians feelings of power, wheather its having millions of dirty oil money or invading a small country and killing a load of people in order to appease some retarded politicians ego.
The russian government want to feel powerfull again and with the US setting such a bad example they feel the need to flex some muscle themselves.
