Is their something to monitor applications for example
you run a program and it tells you what has been added to the registry file or in the appdata Huh

ps when javascript is disabled you can't see any of the buttons, doubt many people disable js though so i guess its all good.

I am confused.
If your talking about monitoring apps you want something like sysinternals for windows (or tripwire for Linux).

oh on the site 'hiding' google ads.

Say I launch a program like photoshop, is it possible to then 'watch' that program to see what it adds to things like registry files or just placing files in other places?

You mean like those installer? I remember seeing a few software having that ability. So if you want to remove a software, it will completely remove all the files because it removes all files installed and modified.
