Botnets look so amazing their on such a large scale, compared to using a IRC it kicks ass!

This botnet, that is estimated to run on as many as 1,000,000 to 50,000,000 infected computer systems, is estimated to be more powerful than some of the world's top supercomputers.

Not technically accurate.
A supercomputer cluster operates as a single machine.
A bot network cannot perform advanced calculations because the internet itself is to slow to allow to allow the network to act as a whole.
Your better off taking over something like a university computer system and clustering all the PCs together.
2000 PCs with 3 T3 Connections is fast enough for most of the tasks you will use it for.

super computers much have a much larger connection, I cant see google running off 1 t3 connection thats madness!

University pc's would be the easiest to hack over google anyway , would be fun to cluster them!
