This question is from my father. He is always scanning printed documents or faxed documents and would like to make some changes to them but without retyping the whole document. Is there any software that can be used to convert the jpeg into a word document for editing. Or any software that can help to scan typed text on a page into a word document.

yeah ur printer should come with a mode which you can use to scan and it comes out as text..

but yeah i dunno mines a new printer so it has it, dunno about older ones.

oh and i wouldnt even try scanning handwritten documents Tongue lol...

I had OCR drivers on my moms scanner when she got it with her windows 95 machine.

Normally if its a bot they can check if their signature link is still then and will put it on again, and its on :p.
