Way to go.
What version do you use, strict or transitional?

XHTML 1.0 Transitional or Strict, fully W3C XHTML 1.0 and W3C CSS Compliant, along with Level 1/2 Accessibility Standards compliancy.

Transitional for me.
I dont think there are any real advantages with going for Strict.

Strict allows you to use a lot less tags and in my humble opinion is a waste of time.

Its a more disciplined version of the language that prevents you from using obsolete tags.

Most browsers nowdays support all tags in strict and transitional.
I dont really think there is any browser that will have problems with a XHTML transitional page as opposed to a strict one.

There is not much difference between HTML and XHTML
XHTML was designed to work on all HTML browsers.

xhtml is more structured and more disciplined than html.

html allowed broken tags and didn't enforce any rules on you.  html does.  It makes you a better coder as you have to follow standards.
