Was just wondering, if they can do a good job of building a chat bot for something like yahoo chat rooms, can't be so hard for a forum.
Anyone ever came across any on a forum?

Yeah I have seen bots that pull XML/RSS news feeds and post them into forums.
Also had a guy on one of my old forums who built an app that could post across multiple forums at the same time.

Was fairly smart the way he did it though.
Unique responses to each post generate a lot of spider food, the backlinks were not worth much but it was a clever script, even if it was in ASP.NET

I always loose my backups, I either know the place I've uploaded it but forget the login or I forget the site I've uploaded them to  . |

Not exactly bad is it, its just you could use them in bad ways . Personally I would like to see it for educational purposes, as I find is extremely interesting and I'm no spammer . |
