Was wondering, what happens if you get more category's, would the top bar go off the page?
I love the site though it looks really good!
Makes a really good change to see its made from joomla!
edit: may i ask how many hours you put into it?

Way to many.
Im actually not a huge fan of Joomla but the polish dudes who were helping me didnt know how to use anything else.
It holds your hand and keeps you away from getting under the hood which is why I dont like it.
And its not even faster to design it that way, I would have been faster coding everything myself.
It generates way to much code and the back end is bloated.
But I think I managed to take care of most of the problems.

I think it would have to be rather fun turning joomla into a e-commerce site, would of been easier using a e-commerce system though!  But last time I tried it I was just overwhelmed by the options in the 'back end', I don't see the point in a lot of the options it could be organized much better. I'm not much of a developer so haven't looked under the hood of joomla, if i did I more than likely would be lost in it  . |

Yeah, this is true, now imagine that exact same approach applied to under the hood.
Menues within menues turns into folders&components within folders & components.
I know a lot about back end stuff and it took me a few weeks to get to the stage where I can edit everything I want to.

One minor observation, it has wide scroll (i'm using 1024x768 and tested it with firefox)! Otherwise than that looks very good! I like the idea behind the name and the logo! Wish you good luck!  |

I had the front page slideshow a few pixels to wide.
Fixed on main page, might have to resize a couple of images on catagory pages.
Besides that, is there anything that would stop you buying stuff from this site.
Be brutally critical, its the only way to improve.
Some of the copy needs rewriting.
Can anyone spot anything else wrong?

ok if you inssist....the buttons 'continue shopping' and 'checkout' are ugly. i would prefer them to be bigger and 'cleaner' if you understand

Yeah thats a good idea, I have to do some work on the cart button and its positioning.
Conversion is a little low, Still though the last order today was for over 500 euro, and tracking is telling me she came in looking to buy a €9.00 flying monkey.
This is doing fairly well considering we only have 55 pages indexed in google so far and we are spending around €2-5 euro a day on PPC
