Cluster PC's for gaminig?

So I'm thinking how do I go about clustering my pc's to run a game?

The main system I want running XP, so if I do so can I run like openMosix live disk. If so how do I go about linking it to windows?

Could I go about doing so with crossover cable or should I use a router?

What sort of game are you looking to play?
Clusters are fairly useless for playing games.
I have used GPU in the past for mapping/scanning the internet.

I would use a router, that way you can connect multiple PCs without affecting internet conectivity.

Battlefield2 is the main game I would like to play.
All my PC's are connected via wireless so I doubt it would make a difference to my internet connection?

Why would it be useless for playing games :s?

I find nothing searching through google, I think I'll give up it doesn't seem possible .

Well your main limiting factor for games is the graphics card, and unless your running the same card on both machines you wont be able to use both cards for playing the game, and even still you can only do that with a couple of cards / card types.
For a proper cluster you need identical machines in order to run the cluster to maximum advantage, otherwise its more like distributed processing.
Clusters are great for stuff like Cracking encrypted files, scanning huge areas of the internet, running DDOS attacks, Running a high traffic load balancing server, 3D rendering, etc
Not great for stuff like games.

I think your software needs to support such feature first. I doubt that there is any game available commerically out there that supports such a environment. Unless you are talking about those American Military war simulation games thing.

Although the most expensive part of my computer was the case (antec slk3600b < I think highly recommended)

It should be possible if you have the same hardware as a lot of software now supports multcore processors and some graphics cards can be run as one card (ATI crossfire and Nvidea SLI).
However this will only work with some software/hardware and you need reasonably high end kit to do it.
