Microsoft buying up Yahoo?

Whats everyone think of this, anthough I don't like microsoft I think this is a very good business plan yahoo have their finger in a lot of things and could offer a lot income from their company, its obvious yahoo cannot handle their own growth which is why they went down and microsoft taking them over could offer a lot of advantages for yahoo and microsoft.

For the consumer the good thing is we might see no more msn search engine .
Athough it could be a dirty trick to take a peek at their algo considering its much better than theirs.

But I think microsoft are selling into the richard brandson marketing plans, which personally I find awful yet it rewards big profits.

I think that if Microsoft buys over Yahoo and really improve on the Search Engine aspect, then I think it's a good deal, especially for Internet users. Buy if Microsoft buys over Yahoo just to get rid of any competition, then it's not going to be good for us.

yeah you can have one massive search engine and 2 smaller ones people only really use when they're checkignt heir email or when google doesn't give you the best results.
