Anyone can help me with Visual Source Safe 2005

Hi guyz,

Its my first post on this forum.

Does any one has done work on team foundation server or Visual source safe 6.0 or vss included in 2005 visual studio??

I need to ask can I bind or link the VSS user name with Active Directory? So the user can be authenticated with the AD also when he try to access VSS .

What I want to achieve is that if a for example "Adam" user share his vss user name and password with any other user "John". John will not be able to get access the vss. Any ideas??

Im fairly sure it should be possible but its been 2-3 years since I played with source safe, been using subversion instead.
I assume its just making sure that only authenticated users can access the source safe files related to the sites they are working on using active directory.

Yah I just want to make sure that only authenticated user can access the source safe from the defined machine. Let me clear this thing more, there are two uers "Jack" and "Ben" and they have their machines "A" and "B" corrospondingly. Now what I want is to make sure that when Jack is trying to connect to source safe database it will be psosible for him only if is logon to the machine "A" and if he tries to access to the source safe form machine "B" he will not be allowed to access the source safe. Same should be the case with Ben.

I posted my this requirement on MS site but they said that source safe does not provide such kind of security features.
