Shitty company

I got a job with a really dodge company, which quite frankly I'm not happy with.

How can I go about digging up info on them?


This company has one really fucked up site in question, honestly I want to find out their finance history and if they have been done for anything by the government, but I'm not sure where to start.

My working conditions are absolute shite, but I want to work their for a few months just to put somin on my cv... but I also want to report them for running a sweatshop

Well google is a good place to start, plus http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/index.shtml should have information on all companies reistered in the UK, i think you can get the financial info as well.
if you want tactics to use against them this should really be in underground but think keyloggers, PHP file browser trojans, log analasis, etc if your going to the dark side. Plus there is a free legal advice provided by a number of uk services like http://www.communitylegaladvice.org.uk/ and you can just contact them and ask where to check the companies legal history and if you think they are doing anything dodgy you could ask about legal standing as well.

Just dont do anything electronic that can cause financial dammage to the company IF you want to be legally safe but snooping is FAIRLY ok.

I have access to all their stuff dont need any tacktics its rather funny how much access I have.
I know their databases, all their site programming and they have just handed the info over to me!

I dont have the balls to hit them financially unfortunately, I just want material to warn some other decent people they have hired that seem to be pulled in by their bullshit websites.
They seem to be running a okish business, but one auction website seems to suggest differently.

Theirs 2 really nice people their who just seem to be minipulated into believing that this is an amazing company...

I was thinking about asking you for something to put on my cv as you offered before, but I would rather try getting stuff myself, thanks for the offer though
